OCEAN 220 Introduction to Field Oceanography
This class focuses on active learning, deployment of instruments, data collection and interpretation, and presentation. Students work together to design a field study in oceanography, which they then conduct aboard one of the UW’s research ships. Students present their results in a final written research paper and an oral presentation.
